In turkey, the one in your pictures is called "döner". Means its spinning It's not really hygenic I know but its hard to resist hahaha And yeah they are usually served inside bread, the one in your last pic is called "dürüm". Kinda looks like burrito in that form

right but burrito or, as we call it in Italy, PIADINA, is thin and flat...... the bread I eat at "my egyptian" that he makes at the moment, is thick and very soft like in your pictures, but not so long

this is CONDIGLIONE and it's a food very good to eat in summer when there outside all is hot and sunny...... it's a mixed salad of a lot of things and may vary following the fantasy of the chef, but the usual elements are tomatoes, boiled eggs, tuna, anchovies, onions, pieces of stale bread and black olives...... all flooded in a lot of extra virgin olive oil and with a lot of black pepper......

Looks damn good... but olives... brrrr
