Oriental metal recommendations
Can someone recommend an oriental metal band (from middle eastern countries)? Genre is not relevant.
So far I've heard of Orphaned Land, Myrath, Narjahanam, Nervecell (not oriental by sound), Melechech, Al Qaynah, etc.
Or maybe some African bands, not necessarily metal, so far I've heard of Ali Farka Toure (awesome guitarist), Bombino (a Tuareg guitarist from Mali iirc), Tamikrest, etc...
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, about Seeds of Iblis, I have read somewhere that it's all fake and that the guys in the band are actually some guys from Norwegian Raw Black metal scene, so... The idea is good, but a part of me feels already deceived by the possible fakeness of this band.
Also, I don't really speak Russian (which is sad given our Slavic origins) so I don't understand a word there, sorry...

Wow, the force is strong with his one
The music is great, though the vocals are a bit off by my standards (female vocals) but I'll try few more songs to decide if I like it or not, thanks for your recommendation!
Also, about the Russian part of the text, I'm sorry but I don't understand a bit of it.

I also love the stuff with a middle eastern twinge.
There are MANY black metal bands with oriental themes but as said earlier not many of them actually originate there. (come from czech republic or something) Like a literal shit ton of bands.
I made a playlist inappropriately named 'The Crusades' which has pretty much all the bands that have already been mentioned. I'm also always looking for more actual bands that hail from the sands as there isnt a lot.
Ramin Djawadi - Medal of Honor OST (I know its a soundtrack but there is some really heavy stuff on there) They arent really songs but Its great for playlist intermissions.
Tyler Bates - 300 OST. another soundtrack, but same as I said before
Jadal - Arabic rocks (Rock not metal, but some heavy guitar on some songs, particularly - Ess / and - Ya Ahla O'yoon)
Arkan (not sure if they are actually middle eastern, fav song is Deus Vult)
Khepri
Confess - from iran. (Im sure you know there story, if you dont look into it. Explains the reason we rarely see middle eastern metal as its totally harram)
Nervecell - Band from the UAE (probably not locals though)
If you search hard enough and just type in heavy metal from (insert country here) you pretty much get what you're looking for.

OK,
Myrath is very good, I already knew about them
Acyl sounds great, I'll check some more songs though
Arkan, I listened to this band but there aren't any seeders on the torrents of their albums here, maybe one per torrent or so
Al Qaynah are also great, downloaded them maybe a month ago
Shokran, I checked them out on you tube but somehow I don't like them very much.
Gene - the same reply as for Shokran but for different reasons
Orphaned land - love them, but they are already well known band
Khepri - not bad
Sand Aura, listened to them a while ago, they are good
Al andalus, sorry, not a fan
Narjahanam - they kill it, one of the few black metal bands I listen nowdays
Sawlagen, couldn't find them on you tube
Aeternam - will download it, though they sound a bit too much power then I like my bands, but nwm
EDIT: Aeternam seems to be Canadian band that incorporates oriental melodies, still good though
Anyway, thanks for your suggestions

Thanks, I will check those soundtracks.
If you like soundtracks, please check Academy Battle Theme from Heroes of Might and Magic V. Here's the you tube link:
