  Yes, I have been on here since 2010 or so... but one thing I cannot figure out

How to JUMP to a certain age in torrent listings?

EXAMPLE: You start at page 1, the NEXT goes to 2 and so forth.

Is there a way to JUMP to a page much farther down the line, like page 99 or 148 etc?

On the far right side of the numbers is a box which shows the current page with a down facing carat, which indicates a drop menu. Click on that box and you can scroll down to what number you want to jump to (see attachment).

I see that when I go to individual categories such as thrash or doom etc.
But on the "main" pages I do not see a dropdown box

If by "main pages" you mean the homepage I don't have it there either. From the homepage, look at the top menu bar and click "Torrents > All Torrents" then you should have the drop down menu I mentioned above.
