Hm, that sounds like it would be a heavy one. What is the alcohol percentage?

I'm not 100% sure, but what I gathered from looking it up is it's about 5.08% abv. Not the strongest, but it's cheap and tasty. Also, kinda reminds me of Canada's take on Heineken.

That is not ridiculous strong no, actually a pretty normal percentage.
Here they also sell Grolsch Kanon. But that is way to strong for beer.
