I've never been much for thrash, but I've suddenly realized that I love blackened thrash. I'm normally a black metal guy, so I guess that aspect is very appealing to me.
The problem is that, since I've never been a big fan, I'm not familiar with anything from the thrash genre, really.
Can you guys share with me some particularly great blackened thrash?

Perfect! I keep seeing the name everywhere and reading about what great dudes they are (recently donating money to some animal charities), but I always forget to check them out.

Aura Noir: black thrash attack / out to die
Desaster: everything
Deströyer 666: phoenix rising
i would also suggest Immortal - blizzard beasts, even if it's not really thrash/black but you can find very good riffing
Try Black Magic, Whipstriker or Craven Idol

i think that they donated all the money from the sales of a limited edition vinyl, anyway... if you want blackned thrash, they are the band you are looking for
