something that goes into the atmosphere like nero, and moments of Gojira (good job catching the similarities in rhythm, riffing , structrure, not many people listen close enough to hear how Nero di Marte is influenced, in many ways, by Gojira) would be Adimirion, or Fit for An Autopsy, the last 3 Albums.


of course there is Morbid Angel as their Death Metal root influence. Also stuff like Immolation. Or Slugdge, Alkaloid, if you like it even more expansive, weird, atmospheric, but still crushing.

Of course there is always Meshuggah, as a well known atmospheric grooving band. In this vein, try Fawn Limbs. Super Heavy, while still a bit of groove.
