Beernd, I don't like fried chicken, I like grilled chicken, or roasted chicken, anyways, today I'm gonna start introducing you guys to our traditional food, I'm sure you'll be drooling

and here we go

first one is caleld Hommos Bi Tahina, it's made with ground chickpeas mixed with tahina, garlic, salt and some olive oil, and it's one of my favourite foods



second one is stuffed grape, it can be stuffed with rice, chickpeas among other things, or meat and rice, so it can be vegetarian or not, and I absolutely love both



and then the all famous salad we make called tabbouleh, and it's made of finely chopped parsley, onions, tomatoes, some mint, aomw groats, with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper

Hmmmm, that salad is a very good idea and very easy to make.
I have a big mint plant in my garden, never thought of putting mint to a salad.
Gotta try me that one. I love salads of all kinds.
What kind of onion do you use?

White onions, or if you have spring onions, that would be even better, and take a little piece of lemon peel, and chop it very finely and mix it along, it will give it an extra citrus edge

ok so this is basically the same dish, but can be made in different forms, and different stuffing, so this is called kebbeh, it's a meat dish, minced meat mixed with groats, and most stuffing are meat + pine seeds + onions + black pepper, or onions+ mint + hot pepper(according to taste) + black pepper, or Lard + onions + mint + hot pepper (also according to taste), it can be made as you can see in a pan like a pizza, or in a egg shape sometimes even bigger and all of them taste greaaat, usually we eat them with a side salad or yogurt mixed with cucumbers, dried mint, minced garlic
