This, after enjoying their newest album, are my first two close encounters of the Throne kind.
Earlier 2013 album didn't grab me fast enough, so I skipped to see what was ahead...
This 2018 EP is better, in my opinion, than the little bit I heard of "2013 Perdition". What can I say? It's heavy, fast, growly death and raspy black vocals alternating, thrashy at times, high speed percussion with rapidly changing timing, and the technicality is evident with oddly shifting tempo, guitar tangents and solo excursions, weird deviations -- all that technical jargon... It's interesting and cool; and thick, like that acrid smoke from burning molasses.
This EP gets ~ 8 / 10 from me, and lucifere gets an extra "thank you very much for your efforts!"
