Germany. Old / classic synth enhanced black metal.   

Classic-sounding black metal with (possibly) a bit of synth & background choral accompaniment - I believe it's what I hear anyway. Lead vocal style is hoarse & whispery with some echo; percussion is steady & reasonably heavy, and the guitars don't seem to feature prominently - they might be in here somewhere, rhythm at least, but the music is well blended, with the synth stringing it all together smoothly, no exaggerated guitar. And not sympho metal - it just contains some synth.

I like it; the sound matches the era it was created, and I do like the old black metal, even if the sound is s bit muffled - it's easier on the ears when the high end is dulled. This one isn't the oldest on the planet, but it's from far back enough.
