This is the angriest, most potent pile of albums from one group, that has exited my speakers, in a while. More potent than the last thing I said was this potent. Entire discography played yesterday & overnight. And again now.
Imha tarikat.. This stuff is magnificent. Relentless. They do not let up. When you think it will taper off and become gentle, as it lulls you into a false sense of calm -- it does not -- and it resumes pounding you into oblivion. The vocalist is wonderful; he's got stamina, aggression, anguished wailing down to an artform. And there's no shortage of awesome guitar in here. Percussion is... percussion is sufficient to crush you. Music is intense, heavy, gloomy, powerful, and loud! Crank it up, it begs to be cranked up!!
