Brazilian black metal
nicely done. Not speed metal but kind of speedy / groovy & rolly.
Track #4.. hehe.. reminded me of Whiplash for a moment..
Fast, energetic black metal like blackened groove & roll, with melodic & riffy guitars with solo tangents; wolves groaning; some ominous choral & harmonized vocal conjuration.... Black metal male vocals, hoarse and nasty but easy on the ears, plus some growly slow vocals along with the extra creepy. Track #6 is a cool acoustic solo guitar track, and very pleasant -- not something I usually enjoy, those occasional flies baked into the middle of an otherwise good cookie. And this tasty fly is succeeded by high torque resumption of thick rasty electric blackness, a beautiful favorite melody: Soberano Exu Caveira. There are hints of folk woven through this album. And occasionally, neck-twisting torque.
I'm reminded of many cool black metal artists I like, but eastern Eurasian, not Brazilian, and with addition of rock- & power- style guitar work to the otherwise nauseating, sinewy concertina-wire guitar which is standard. An enjoyable album, recommendable in my opinion, and being rewound to the start for another listen. This is great!
