Ceremony остается именем, с которым приходится считаться на голландской экстрим-металлической сцене, а его звучание продолжает развиваться и раздвигать новые границы. Этот альбом знаменует собой новый шаг для группы, обеспечивая оркестровую составляющую, которая придала музыке мрачность, многослойность и эпичность, предлагая более театральное звучание. Супер!
Netherlands; modern Sympho death metal. Cool!
A recommendation brought me here. Thank you, blackivan. This is indeed very interesting music. And it's not total-Sympho metal, it's more like augmented with some synth / sympho. Primarily, it's death metal, with a few modern twists and turns. There's some operatic / choral vocal accompaniments, some nice piano, and lots of cool death metal. It's a bit different, but not extremely so; this fits well into death metal category. I wanted to listen and write, but that's not working out today; I've restarted this album 12 times at least. On the bright side, even with all these restarts, the album is not boring! And I haven't gotten to the end of it once yet. So suffice it to say, it's of high quality: great sound, a good rip, and good music. If you like (M)DM with a bit of flair, this should be appealing to you.

По форме нормальный такой Симфо дэт (не особо симфо, правда), но в мелодическом плане не впечатлило абсолютно. Пытался настроиться "что это круто" - но нет, совершенно нейтрально воспринимается. 7-/10
