Its sole architect, known only as Grimovetust, has never revealed his true identity, nor has he ever performed live in this form. Black metal from who-knows-where, by a mystery artist. The intrigue...
Right, this individual probably isn't brand new to the scene, as has been speculated, according to the Info above.
Sometimes an atmospheric, spatial feeling on account of the creepy echoing / reverberating vocal effects, and some instrumental sections. Sound is nicely mixed, giving a smoothly blended, finished feeling; I'm reasonably sure there's synth responsible in part, but it's subtle, not like there's a keyboard being played, and it's not sympho metal. There's also a folky aspect at times, with gentle acoustic / classical guitar intros, some waves of the ocean, a few endangered seabirds, and those spatial vocals, all futher giving briefly an atmospheric, even a bit epic, feeling. Otherwise, besides all that, it's black metal music, and fine, with some speed, solid percussion, and not-bad guitar.
Norwegian? Swedish? Finnish? ... Ahh, the suspense.
