Этот альбом, демонстрирует культовую датскую группу в отличной форме, представляя свой насыщенный и эмоционально заряженный материал, который знаменует собой новую вершину для одного из самых стойких имен. Результат - грубый и суровый звуковой ландшафт, который придает альбому драматический вес. Все это позволяет группе расширить свою звукопую палитру за счет взрывных темпов, мелодичных синтезаторных текстур и апокалиптического звучания.

Deathy black metal. Very good. From Denmark.
As with the previous album, this is strongly black metal, in my opinion; very black death metal; it's also a little more vigorous, and sinister, than the previous album - one may feel a fresh energy in here. There's some novelty too, particularly in the riffy guitar playing, and incorporation of a few very subtle but cool effects - the results of modernity, I suppose. It's angry and heavy, perfectly aggressive and sinewy, fitting nicely into the black (death) metal department.
All said and done, I enjoy this Danish group quite a bit; no album did I dislike, though I like some better than others, of course; I especially enjoyed their early 6-7 albums. Into the favorites department with them, the whole discography.
