Ninth studio album 1981 - Music From "The Elder"?
Awesome
merci super
Gracias !!!
Gracias!
Can someone please explain why using 24bit / 192kHz when the source is a CD? The resolution / dynamic just isn't there since the source is 16bits 44.1kHz, the extra space is just filled with nothing. Up to 8 times the data, with absolutely no use.
The only time there might be a theoretical point using this bitrate/resolution is.
1. The source is a raw data studio master with high resolution, alternatively an analog source recorded on professional studio equipment
2. You are planning to edit and resample the audio several times, then the extra headroom might have a point.
3. You are dog and you can hear sounds over 25kHz
Ripping CD:s this way is just a gross waste of bandwith / time / diskspace
The source is digital. All from Qobuz.com I think. But I understand what you mean. The "original" source might be CD, who knows...
