Confessori - Realm Breaker

Brazilian drummer Ricardo Confessori, best known for his work with Angra, Shaman and Korzus, has released Realm Breaker, the debut studio album from his solo project, Confessori. Having established himself as one of the most respected drummers in Brazilian heavy metal, Confessori brings together his musical experience and influences in an ambitious concept album that blends power metal, progressive metal, modern riffs, symphonic arrangements and electronic elements. Developed between 2023 and 2026, Realm Breaker features 12 tracks built around a science-fiction storyline involving artificial intelligence, technological domination and the consequences of human ambition. The album features an impressive selection of guest vocalists, including Dan Vasc, Bruno Sutter, Mizuho Lin, Guilherme Hirose, Carlos Zema, Daniel Pinho and Fabio Caldeira, each contributing a distinctive voice to the project's musical diversity. In addition to handling drums, keyboards and much of the songwriting, Confessori also produced the album, with Thiago Larenttes contributing guitars, bass, synthesizers, orchestral arrangements, mixing and mastering. With Realm Breaker, the former Angra and Shaman drummer opens a new chapter in his career, delivering a powerful and ambitious release that reflects his extensive background in the Brazilian metal scene while exploring new musical territories.
