This is lively, cheerful syntho black metal, mixed with sinister ambient & sometimes epic doomy & gloomy death-doom. Highly atmospheric at times - for example, 1998's Ancient Prophecy.
A nice & interesting mix of stuff in here, so far.
Currently I'm on the 2003 album. Perhaps an update later, after I've heard the rest.
UPDATE: I've continued to enjoy this gang - entire discography is very nice - while having lost track of how many times I've now heard it.
