Yes, I have listened to Melvins and yes I love Melvins. Just because Grunge is INSPIRED by punk and have HARDCORE elementals DOES NOT put Grunge to the same line with HARDCORE.
And Sludge Metal is yes, quite inspired from grunge but heavier riffs etc. STILL NOT GRUNGE!
I don't think you've listened to the other bands in this compilation. Malfunkshun?!?! Green River? Skin Yard??
